Ah-Ha! I was actually able to get both issues today at my LCS. Many people have been saying this is the best Avengers book right now. While I don’t really think that is the case (my heart is still in for Secret Avengers) reading these two issues made me realize how great this series is.

This is a fun, action packed team book that everyone should be reading. Jeff Parker just nails down the characters so well, which is amazing considering they are so vastly different. Never would I thought that I would be liking Crossbone or Juggernaut in the same book. This is how an Avengers team should feel, which is not what we’re getting in the other books (again other then Secret Avengers). The art by Kev Walker is also pretty damn impressive. He’s basically just a more cleaner Mike Mignola when you boil it down. The characters look like from the Hellboy universe, and the fighting effects feel the same way.

I hope this series keeps this creative team for the long haul. While I will put this below Secret Avengers, it is still very close to being the best team book Marvel has. Go get all three issues if you can, cause you’re missing out on one hell of a series
