Bah! A Siege Epilogue of any reknown should have one subject, and one subject only: a requiem for Loki! He who selflessly sacrificed himself for the sake of the remaining living Asgardians, super-powered Midgardians, and not to mention Midgard itself. He who endeavored always to promote the welfare of his people and champion their cause, even as they suffered the condition of being stuck on this lowly world, in this sad, flat land called Oklahoma, where Thor abandoned them. Oklahoma, where the winds come sweeping off the plains. Not, Oklahoma, where the palace of the gods should hang 20 feet the ground.

Hrmmph!

Well, the best laid plans of mice and men and petty, brainless, blonde-haired bimbo thunder gods oft’ go awry. I tried. Odin knows, I tried. But foolish Osborn and his dyspeptic pet Bob nearly ruined it for everyone. And even though I turned the tide in battle, I’m sure I will be posthumously betrayed and portrayed – as always – as a schemer and a deceiver. Well of course I’m a deceiver. It’s in the byline of my name for Sif’s sake! Fool you once, shame on me; fool you 700,000 times, shame on you!

Still, I was glad to see the Thor pretender get his comeuppance. If Reed Richard, Hank Pym, and Tony Stark are trying to get into the lies and trickster game, they’re going to have to do a better job than that. What a pathetic excuse for a doppleganger. And racist too, it turns out. That’s one thing even I won’t touch. Loki does not want to anger the NAACP. They go after Hallmark for Hel’s sake.

In all, it was a continued strong effort by Keiron and a welcome addition of the newly reknowned Braithwaite. Bravo! Just add more Loki. And soon.
