I fully recognize that this book is not for everybody, but does it really have to be? It's a smart book and a subtle book, where most of the plot and drama happens in the spaces between words. And I do love it. The only bit I was kind of lukewarm on was the talk with Captain America's ghost. Sure it was explained, and it set up some of the action in the issue quite well, I'm just not a fan of that sort of thing... but I suppose it's weird to complain about suspension of disbelief in a book about a Norse Thunder god living in Oklahoma. The other main force in this issue is Loki continuing to spread dissent... but to what end? I guess tricksters will be tricksters. Anyway, this is a lovely book, but if you need slam-bang action, it's not for you. Personally, I think reading a cerebral and understated superhero book is refreshing.

I’m so full of "slam-bang action" from all these secret invasion tie-ins that this is easily my favorite comic series of all time as it stands.
I’m all for action, but it too easily degrades into MINDLESS action. See Rulk.
Thor, in a way, reminds me of Death Note. All tension and drama, but all of it happens indirectly and by the atosphere it creates.
