The chase is on in this issue, but I feel like people are not reading this book, and I am not sure why? Spencer is regaining his former glory with this book and it’s not morning yet, yes amazingly this issue takes place at night. This book is like Ocean’s Eleven and Lost blended together. We have the creation of a new team of criminals to pull off a great heist, and a man that says, ” give me back my son, I want my son,”- if you’ve watched lost you know what that line refers too.
Martinbrough and Serrano complement each others work with art and colour. Characters look different, which is important in a new series, and there attitudes match their expressions which was cool, ie, the tough guy, looked tough. The first five issues have been great, and the story takes an interesting twist toward the end of the issue, which I didn’t see coming, so bring on issue 6, only 28 days to go.

Comments

  1. I’m not reading it because it doesn’t sound very interesting. Sorry, but you asked.

  2. I’m reading but this issue is make or break for me. Its not bad written but it feels to slow for me up to this point. i was expecting a oceans elvenesque story, with a big robbery, some chases etc. if the story speeds up and gets some action i will stay.
