I can’t say enough good things about Luther Strode. Justin Jordan and Tradd Moore are great new talents and the sky is the limit for the both of their careers. I am disappointed that this title is flying under the radar of so many readers, but the quality of this series won’t allow that to happen much longer. The release of the TPB will should allow those unwilling to pay the premium demanded in the secondary market to enjoy the series. Justin Jordan did a fantastic job setting up just the right number of unresolved plot lines which keeps readers like myself excited and anxious for the release of the Legend of Luther Strode in October or 2012. What is going to happen with Luther and Petra? Will Luther survive his inevitable confrontation with Cain? Who are the characters wrapped and chained in the Librarian’s lair? I can’t wait to find out. Despite Jordan’s exceptional writing, Tradd Moore’s art is what most fans can’t quir talking about. Moore’s pencils show a maturity beyond his years. He has a gift for telling stories with facial expressions and body language and his battle scenes are truly awesome. I can’t wait for October and only hope that Jordan and Moore will treat us to more than a six issue mini-series. Don’t be surprised if Moore and Jordan take home Eisner awards for their work on this title. If you haven’t read Luther Strode, don’t wait. You won’t be disappointed.
