Just an incredibly solid 1st issue! Amazing usage of 20 pages. Great pacing and yet I feel like I learned so much about every character and the world they are living in. Basically, the zombie apocalypse has occurred and to save themselves, the upper class has taken “The Cure” (nothing to do with Robert Smith) and have voluntarily become vampires. So the lower class is zombies, middle class are human and the upper, vampires. The main character is a vampires who seems to miss being human. He is also the last homicide detective due to total lack of homicides that occur that aren’t just zombie attacks on humans. I learned all of that, and they set up a murder mystery and managed to be less wordy than i’m being here! I honestly can’t say enough good things about it.
