EXCELLENT! The issue was very Mag-centric…

his background as a Tamil Tiger (great art by Brown in these flashback pages), and his escapades with Callum in Blackbell–until Callum’s conscience forces him to quit.

The main action of the issue centers around the Kapital’s spotting of a 3/4 mile long container ship. ‘Natch Mag is up for insurrection to find some “treasure.”

Brown does a fantastic job of laying out the combat scenss on the container ship…and really his style is PERFECT for the book.

I enjoyed the hell out of this issue.

  1. Me too! Full of suspense and a great look at Mag the soldier. Credit to Wood, I have cared about these characters since issue 1, and continue to care more each issue. There is so much to them, and we have barely scratched the surface. I think this is the second time we see Mag involved a death, and he never tells Cal. Is there a blowup waiting on the horizon? Brown does a great job on art, I agree, he is perfect for the book. Excellent review.
