This was good, but I’m starting to feel like I’m just hanging on waiting for this series to be over. There’s only one issue left and, though I feel like Brubaker is weaving a great narrative through the earliest Marvel history, I don’t really feel like there is anything tying it all together yet other than that it’s all happening at the same time.

Epting’s art is spectacular and Brubaker has a great grasp of these characters, but I feel like I’m getting an anthology of character moments and not really any story other than Nazi’s are bad and thank goodness we’ve got Captain America and Co. to sort everything out for us mere mortals.
