“Ignition” was the arc that got me into The Flash way back in 2003 and since then I’ve been hooked but as you all know, it hasn’t been easy with the book constantly getting rebooted. This marks my third Flash #1, and hopefully the last for awhile. Everyone seems to be going nuts for it, but I wasn’t too impressed. The story didn’t really grab me in, and I’m still not sold on Barry Allen (yes I know he was before Wally West, but understand where I come from). The art was good, but had a colored pencil style that annoyed the crap out of me for reasons I can’t explain. I’ve been with Flash through his highs and lows, and I’ll be sticking with it. The story has potential to get more interesting. I just hope to the lords above that cosmic treadmills are non-existent in the DCnU.

Story: 2 - Average
Art: 3 - Good
