I’ve been waiting for the series to kind of kick into gear. The first couple issues were absolutely great, and the micro-series have been outstanding, but the main story has been going a little slow in my opinion. I think it is finally reaching a point where things will really start moving though, and I am very excited for it.
The art is great for the story, but there were places it could have been better. April’s face just really annoyed me. Every panel she was in, her expression was exactly the same. Slightly stupid, with a partially open mouth, and solid white teeth. She had no emotion whatsoever.
Overall, a great book though, and anyone who has ever been a fan of TMNT should be reading this.
