‘City at War’ is probably the best arc of the Classic Ninja Turtles comic, and now IDW has started off a great version with its own ‘City Fall’.

After a disappointing filler issue, this one kicks it off right with Casey Jones and Raphael battling the foot clan before Casey is captured and hauled away. This leads to a great battle in which all four turtles get their time to shine, and we finally get to see the Shredder at his most evil.

Extra credit for the fantastic artwork from the same artist as the phenomenal ‘Secret History of the Foot’ miniseries. This is one of the best issues of what has been a seriously underrated version of the Turtles.
