Finally!

I definitely appreciate Snyder’s writing, but the pace at which the plot in both this and ANIMAL MAN has moved has started to grate on me. Not because it’s bad, necessarily, but because so much time is spent talking about what’s going to happen.

Now, SWAMP THING’s had lots of stuff go down so far, and as the Parliament of Trees burns, things are really heating up. This is the game changer.

Paquette’s art is in absolute top form. Which isn’t always a good thing for the reader – at least, not if you want to be able to sleep at night.
