I read this issue in 4 minutes.

That isn’t a complaint, in fact I read it two more times for significantly longer. Four minutes, however, is the fastest I have ever read a comic book. In part due to my unbounded anticipation, and in part due to the rocket trajectory of the issue. This story has mystery, exceptionally realized characters, and genuine horror. Scott Snyder delivers once again with another punch-in-the-mouth dowager of “What the heck just happened!?” I missed Yanick Paquettes art, but it certainly didn’t take away from the quality of Snyder’s story telling.

This is no doubt my favorite DC book, sincerely terrified.
