I liked this quite a bit. Kano’s art was really good. Not quite Paquette, obviously not Francavilla..the inking complemented it perfectly. Oh, and I like the look of this Swampy.

Considering the beating this book has been for the last 6 months, Soule’s first issue was tight.

The Seeder storyline allows us a really really interesting look at what the Green is all about. I now feel like I “get” what Swampy’s supposed to be doing in a way I never got with Snyder’s run.

No way I’m dropping this, this new story arc has piqued my interest.

Soule’s use of Scarecrow was a pleasant surprise. He was more of a backdrop/random encounter than an EPIC BATTLE.

Again, a nice tight script.

Story: 4 - Very Good
Art: 5 - Excellent
