More!

That’s not just the philosophy of the Parasite, but also my feelings on this issue and this book as a whole.

Johns introduces us to the Parasite, gives us great Lex Luthor dialogue, goes further with Lois Lane’s characterization, gives us some nice Clark Kent moments, and a great scene with Superman and Jimmy Olsen talking on the roof of the Daily Planet.

Gary Frank really tells a wonderful story through his art. Yes, he’s working off Johns’ scripts, but he can make moments seem as grand as they deserve.

As usual, we get a lot for our money. It’s a packed story that stands alone, yet ties into the mini-series as a whole. With only two issues left, I can’t wait to see what else they’ll throw at us. Until then, the wait will be painful as I just want more!

Story: 5 - Excellent
