This issue, the second in the "Superman Is Kind Of A Douche" story line, is easily one of the stupidest things I've ever read in my entire life. From the basketball scene that would feel more at home in a men's deodorant commercial to the almost insultingly ridiculous medically-advanced-aliens-are-the-obvious-solution-to-auto-plant-layoffs set up, there's not one moment in this comic that didn't make me want to melt my own eyeballs with a cigarette lighter. I couldn't even read the last two pages because I was so simultaneously amazed and appalled. Basically, so far, this has just seemed like a sadly uninformed and eye-rollingly dull stroll through Superman's stuffy and dull view of social issues. This run is making New Krypton look like Dostoyevsky.
