Never before have I waited with such anticipitation for a Superman title than I ever had before. The reason is that the writer of Superman James Robinson has created a character that is worth reading month to month. He does a great job in definning the character Mon-el  saying that he is a superman archetype, but he is not clark kent. He knows how to foght monster and aliens, but he feels uncomfortable talking to his neighbors. This is where Robinson give him a great supporting cast in the guardian and his team mates who help him experience life and learn new things. If that doesnt interest you the twist to his character that Robinson wrote in make me love this character more.  This year Mon-el or now Johnthan Kent will prove that he is a superman
