This was actually a pretty fun issue. We get to see Superman fighting someone who seems to be in the same weight class, and the fight actually looks cool.

This issue also left me with some questions. Does Superman’s new history include his fight with Doomsday? Does New 52 continuity acknowledge the death & return of Superman? And what’s the deal with the dream-sequence?

Anyway, I’m glad I picked up this book. it’s been a long time since I’ve enjoyed a Superman story. My next stop: Wikipedia. I need to find out who that dude with the giant head is, and more importantly, I need to find out exactly what the New 52 reboot was.
