First Supergirl gets another new origin, the one from a few years ago is moot. She appears in her outfit right away, guess they wear that on Krypton. (Boots still look odd above the knee)

I enjoyed it, but there wasn’t much to the story. She lands in Siberia, some robot looking soldiers arrive and they fight, and then to be continued next issue. I bought Action, but passed on Superboy so I gave this a shot. I’m dived on Superman next week, but I got to say DC really put some much needed vibrancy in the Superman family of books. While the story was thin here it was very well told, we read her thoughts wondering what is happening to her, and as she develops her powers as well. A nice approach to character development, and the art? One of DC’s best looking books period. Asrar’s pages are just gorgeous.

Will I buy this next month? Don’t know I’ve commited to Action. I’ll have to see.
