I was not looking forward to this book. In fact it made its way into my top 5 least anticipated books of the New 52. The redesigns look for King Shark, Deadshot and especially Harley were just awful. But I decided in the effort of fairness I’d give it a shot. I mean I do enjoy the three main characters.

I didn’t care for this at all. Ok, no, I take that back. One line of dialogue from Harley did make me smile, but the rest of it was just joyless drivel. A latino with fire power called “El Diablo”? Really? Did they really need to slim down one of the only larger sized women in comics? Heck I’m even annoyed with them shaving Deadshot.

The plot is serviceable but nothing special and almost all of the dialogue is unmemorable. This is the most disappointed in a book I’ve been in a long time.

Story: 1 - Poor
