The solicit of this project was great; in that form I should have LOVED this book. Unfortunately, it didn’t work. This read like a movie pitch that could have been good. It also read like something that could have worked in a longer limited series. Don’t get me wrong: I’m really tired of reading unnecessarily long, artificially extended arcs. This mini represents proof the other extreme can exist. Several aspects of the story made very little sense because the exposition was ridiculously compressed. I know, I’m asking for more of something I panned.
