Scott Snyder’s Hobo epic continues in the second issue of Severed! Though the art in the issue is very hit or miss, often offering very real and emotional shots while other times leaving something to be desired, The writing and pacing is spot on. Snyder focuses on the drama our young protagonist in his search for his father, leaving the horror for the end of the issue while bringing the two plot lines closer together. This book offers tender and sad moments while also providing haunting images for the reader to enjoy. Definitely a must read for all fans of horror fiction!
