I’ll keep this short and to the point. Like many of you, I felt that this series has been much better in premise (interesting team/writer/artist combo) than—with the exception of the first issue—execution. With this issue, I think I can honestly say that this was largely the fault of an attempty to jump into the fun on Bru’s part before really getting into the nitty gritty of a “secret” avengers team perfectly suited for Bru’s writing. And with this issue, the “secret” cloak and dagger feeling I think we were all hoping for is firmly present. In fact, this issue feels like a complete 180 from the previous arc, and I loved it. I won’t give anything away but I was ready to drop this series if this issue didn’t grab me: it absolutely did. Those who gave up already would be wise to at least check this out. I think you’ll be glad you did.

Story: 5 - Excellent
