The conclusion of “High Lonesome” doesn’t disappoint. It picks up right where Part 1 left off. What’s interesting is the first few pages shows how this comic ends, then the story telling jumps around in time. One page with flashbacks to 8 years ago, 24 four hours ago and 12 hours ago takes you into Dash’s tormented, strung out mind. This whole issue delivers scenes with such rapid fire, that it disorients the reader, which puts you into Dash’s shoes as he stumbles through this story. I don’t even know how to describe how great the art is in this issue. The facial expressions in this are spot on. I know the art is great when it can pretty much tell the story just through pictures. The smack is really taking its toll on Dash’s effectiveness. If he survives this issue, things are not going to get any easier.

Story: 5 - Excellent
