If a book only comes out every other month, the art better damn well be pretty.  Oh, man, oh man is this artwork pretty.

I wasn’t completely sold on this series after the first issue.  It’s a lot of information for very little immediate payoff.  But there’s enough minorly cool background things going on to give me hope that S.H.I.E.L.D.’s story will be as epic as its art.
