This has the potential to be a lot of fun. Personally, I don’t mind a lot of exposition, and the repeated refrain of “This is not how the world ends” works well to bind together the many stories seperated by time. I will be interested to see if it is supposed to fit into continuity (particularly with the two special agents we meet in the modern setting, which seem to suggest otherwse).

Small quibble: Leonardo would not refer to himself as da Vinci. da Vinci was not his surname, it’s a descriptive term meaning “of Vinci”, which is where he was born. In other words, he’s that guy, Leonardo, from Vinci.

Finally, the art, and particularly the design, was excellent. I could criticise it on how closely the characters were to the historical figures, but what we’re really looking at is the gadgets.

Story: 4 - Very Good
Art: 5 - Excellent
