  1. Not that you haven’t tried – remarkably – to prove why you didn’t love this book, because you have. I just disagree with almost every point you’ve made.

For one, Tim & Damien have been at each others throats for awhile now, so……I can kind of understand Tim going overboard and losing it the way he did. The little bitch took (or was given) his mantle. Robin is Tims mantle and Dick just took it away. Of course he’s upset. There’s obviously been some big changes in these characters’ universe. Why is it such a stretch that Tim would be obsessed with his "mission"?

I just think, all in all, that Tim is going through some huge issues emotionally and he’s trying to figure his shit out. Thus, why he is slightly unbalanced. The guy is trying to figure out his place. I think this makes for a very compelling read.

Why would anyone want to read a boring book with a happy Tim just trotting along with punch line after punch line? I gets old. This is new. This is good.

Lets face it. A historic character hoping into a new suit and pretending everything was cool, and he should just go about his day – would have come off really weird.

*About the only thing I kind of agree with you – is the art. I don’t think it deserved a 1, maybe a 2.5 (they should have .5’s on this site). They do have to address the issue of Tim going from skinnyish Robin size to this fairly big muscle bound guy. Maybe show Tim becoming obsessive about working out – putting on muscle mass since Bruce has gone.
