What an ugly book. Not ugly in the sense that it offends my
sensibilities. I mean this is a book I’d have to get pass out drunk to
sleep with. Panosian is like a less talented Kevin O’Neil. All the
muscles he draws have really sharp angles to them. As for the story, it
was pretty good. Pak does writes good hulk properties for the most
part. I haven’t been liking the Savage Sword of Skaar, but now that
it’s going to take place on earth, it should be more engaging to say
the least. I liked having read being the device to get all the plot and
narrative out, about how and why we’ve been getting stupid Hulk and
what not. I did like the throwaway line about why the Thing likes Gray
hulk. The only qualm I had with the story was why was Jen sleeping as a
human. She doesn’t power down ever really. Other than that, decent
prologue and I want to see where it goes.
