PLANET SKAAR PROLOGUE ONE-SHOT

Finally, Greg Pak gets to continue writing the hulk story after WWH. The current run by Loeb, has ZERO connection to the previous WWH. I loved how Pak addressed this point, by stating that the hulk has surpressed his feelings since WWH and become dumb again – “I feel your anger, now release your haterd and your jounrey to the dark side shall be complete.” – sorry, great quote for the moment. Back to the book, this is an interesting story development, Skaar feels like Marvels version of Shaazm, which is cool, this is not a bad thing. There is tones of story develop, with various implications for Skaar returning – which will affect all Pak books – or so is the impression. I hope Pak takes over the Red Hulk book because it is losing steam fast, and Pak writing Hulk is a great fit. It was exciting to read this prologue, it remind me of Planet Hulk from a few years ago, and I got chills down my back. Don’t get me wrong, this is a fun book, TONES of jokes, which will make you laugh out loud, trust me- Mr. Fantastic and She-Hulk scene, nuff said. The art is ok, it is good at times, and extermely weak at other points.

Story: 5 - Excellent
Art: 3 - Good
