The times, they are good.
Every issue of O.M.A.C. to date has been action-packed, but issue #7 is literally exploding with content–if you’re looking to squeeze every penny’s worth of value from your comics, this should be your go-to book.

For 2.99, you’ll get:
-Another Omactivation!
-A desperate teleport!
-Talking animals!
-An Island-of-Dr.Moreau-style zoo of horrors!
-Yet another natural connection to the Fourth World and Darkseid’s Elite
-An overt tie to Kamandi!
-Reference to the Bio-Gators!
-Brother Eye with a conscience?!
-A knock-down, drag-out with Superman!

Didio and Giffen aren’t simply recycling Kirby ideas. They’re defending a nearly extinct way of creating a comic by delivering exciting, fun storytelling and absurd, super-powered ideas only conceivable in this medium. It’s a shame we’ll only get one more issue of this instant classic.

Story: 4 - Very Good
Art: 5 - Excellent

  1. We should kidnap and torture people online until DC puts this book back in the normal roster! 😉

  2. Couldn’t agree more. Any references to Kamandi is a good thing in my book. Absolutely love it!
