Ah, Nova. I honestly never thought I’d give half a damn
about space epics, unless it involved time travel and the adventures of
Superman as a boy.

This, however, completely changed my opinion. I
can’t think of any character that has been gone from half assed joke
into solid badass, like Rich has.

This issue was great. I loved the
entire War of Kings story, because all of the stories that contributed
to it were fairly stand alone, but they added to the texture.

 This book
is taking all the things that were glanced over in Johns relaunch of
Green Lantern and developing them into an excellent story.

I love the
art in this book, too. It gives grandeur but doesn’t spare the grit.

The only problem I have is the new personality for World Mind is a
little too glib. It undercuts her authority more than it adds to the
story.
