Northlanders is, I think, the only Vertigo series that I haven’t gotten around to reading yet.  I bought the first trade, and put it on my shelf where it’s currently sobbing between…two books that start with “N”.  So when I saw this was a one-shot I snatched it up.

And I’m totally sold on the series now.  You could have written a really interesting six or seven issue arc based on this one issue alone.  Which is not to say that this issue felt too compact.  The pacing was perfect.  And it’s definitely excited me to go and read the trades.
