This is just a great effort by Brian Wood. I would be happy if the arc ended with this issue. The cover is misleading. I fully expected Padre Boris to be killed but he prevails with a level of badass only seen in poorly dubbed kung-fu movies -a la- 'this is a fair fight and no matter the outcome there will be no revenge'. Grunburgs death was inevitable but seeing Hilda slit a man's throat in his sleep, whoa! You come out of this book excited to see the despicable antagonists dispatched to Hades but it is far from a happy ending the last pages reveals Hilda, Karin and Boris leave the compound in self imposed exile for fear of revenge.
