I used to really enjoy New Avengers, but the art has become a huge stumbling block for me. Bachalo's art, which I didn't have a problem with last issue, seems to have gotten worse. And as for Billy Tan...let's just say I'm not a big fan. The overall art is so garish that I had a hard time settling my eyes down enough to read the reams of dialogue Bendis churned out for this issue. Speaking of which, I'm getting kinda bored with the "sitting around the table and talking thing", especially when there is nothing good to look at. Aside from that... *MASSIVE SPOILER* ...isn't Ms. Marvel dead? I know that it's hard to have every piece of continuity line up throughout every title in the Marvel Universe, but homegirl is DEAD. Bendis couldn't have had her fly off last issue instead of being around almost a month after she's supposed to have died? And yes, I realize the timeline differs from title to title, but "Ms. Marvel" and "New Avengers" are both Dark Reign tie-ins. And this is a little different than the old complaint of, "how can the Dark Avengers be fighting so and so when they are also fighting Herc in his title?" The character is dead. That's pretty huge.
