  1. Nice review now I’m really glad that I really don’t read too many marvel titles anymore.  It is sad to hear about the swiping incident that happened in this issue.  Also I thought Hawkeye was like Daredevil and would sleep with just about anything.  Am I wrong about that?

  2. Well, I know he’s been with Black Widow and Mockingbird, but I don’t think Clint was like Daredevil who went from Karen to Echo to Milla in rapid fire within the first 40 issues or so of his revamped series, but I suppose that’s neither here nor there.  Still, reading how they act feels more like they got together over dramatic situations rather than by any real romantic connection.  I suppose we’ll see how it turns out later, but that’s the feeling I’ve got.

  3. Nice review Tork.  You pretty much captured the way I felt about the issue.  Although, I liked the art a bit better than you did, you captured how I felt about the story.  Speaking of which, when did Skrulls get so damned strong?  I mean in this issue, Wolverine seriously cuts that Skrull up hardcore style and it’s still alive and kickin’.  In the Illuminati series, Iron Man had to use nuclear weapons.  Is this a new thing to make them seem more menacing or have they always been so indestructible?

I’m a little excited for Secret Invasion, but I feel like it needs to bring something really serious to the Marvel U, and it will be pretty damn stupid if those that are Skrulls were killed off long ago.

  4. Nice review even though I mostly disagree.

  5. Mack has stated that the visual references to the Maleev Daredevils was an intentional thing to make the Skrull Daredevil feel "off".

  6. i really enjoyed this issue – hope we get more character focused issues like bendis did during cival war.
