Some stories are dizzying in a way you just want to get off the ride.  You’ve lost all sense of balance, and all you care about is getting as far away from whatever the instigating factor was.  And then sometimes the ride is dizzying in such a way that you don’t ever want to get off.

I don’t have a fucken clue who Nemesis is (other than, clearly, a master of disguise).  I don’t know how he ties into The Batman Universe.  This issue did absolutely nothing to make me understand what prompted it, and where it’s going.  And I’m totally okay with that.

  1. Great review. This sounds like this type of comic, confusing and intriguing at the same time.

Do I have to read the FC mini in order to get this?

  2. TNC: I didn’t read it at all, though I’m probably going to go pick up the trade now.

  3. Alright, I’ll admit it- I have no idea what FC refers to. What is it?

BTW, picked this up today based on your review. Glad I did- thanks!

  4. @hailscott : FC refers to Final Crisis. This series is a follow up to the Final Crisis Aftermath: Escape mini.   I’ve heard great things about it, but have yet to read it myself.

    Glad you enjoyed the comic.

  5. Thanks for the review. It made me pick it up and I really enjoyed it.
