Nemesis is a beautiful blend of chaos and violence. Fans of Wanted or Kick-Ass should definitely check this out. There aren’t too many books that you can jump into and not know a thing about the characters and yet still find extremely satisfying, but Nemesis pulls it off quite nicely. McNiven’s art has never looked better and Millar’s storytelling is at its best. You can tell that they’re having a lot of fun with this series. I actually had to stop for a moment mid-read and check “is this really a marvel book?” due to some of the extreme content. I look forward to the rest of the series and hope its as much of a roller coaster ride as the first issue.
