I was going through my stack of books and when I got to this title I smiled and said to myself “Let the FUN begin!” A lot of comics take themselves very seriously, but this is not one of them. If you liked the old Muppet Show (and really, who didn’t?), you will like this book. It’s got the exact same tone as the old show: humor that is silly enough for children, but not so simple that it will bore adults. it strikes that perfect balance between child-ISH and child-LIKE. The tone of the book and the characters were spot on as far as the writing goes. The art may not have been exactly what I would have liked to see, but it did it’s just well enough. This was a really great book. I hope the mini is successful and we get another one, or even a monthly. i would certainly pick it up every month.
