I was super excited about this book……when I read issue one back in November. I admit Millar’s writing is a guilty pleasure (I am a huge fan of Old Man Logan, Chosen, Superior, and I actually thought Nemesis was a fun read) but unfortunately the timing of this issue took a lot away from it. With volume 1 of Kick-Ass, the first few issues came out kind of regularly and then it slowed down over the last few, but the early issues of the story allowed for me to get sucked in and compelled to want more from it. This volume has not quite sucked me in yet. And who knows when we will get the next issue. I just hope the rest of this series steps up a bit and gets interesting, because as of now, I’m just bored with it.
