Let me say that I am without question a huge JLI fan. When this series was announced with Winick and Giffen I was beside myself with glee. With the departure of Giffen in the middle of the series, I felt like a victim of the old “bait and switch” but kept reading and was pleased to see that the series was still very fun and worth my three bucks every two weeks. Having said that, I’m not sure what the series accomplished on its own, besides setting up a new JLI series. I love the new Rocket Red, but the new Blue and Gold team (Booster and Jamie Reyes) is going to be a little weird, with the new Blue Beetle being a teenager. All in all, I’m thrilled to have the world’s greatest superteam (yes, I mean the Justice League International) back, but if it’s going to be here, it needs to bring back Guy Gardner and a Max Lord type boss. I’m along for the ride and I’m excited, I guess I’m just afraid of being let down.

G’Nort better show up sometimes too, and not the stupid Chaykin version, either.

Bwa-ha-ha-ha-ha!!!!!

  1. Update, I somehow didn’t rate art and story. Story 4/5 Art 4/5 Apologies for that.

  2. if you go under your comics, you can edit your review so it actually “counts” towards ratings and all that.
