Let’s be honest anyone who like me stayed on this title thus far during Milligans run knows that the first arcs were a complete mess. Although it had some great moments during it had lacked overall in quality of a great story.

Now this is a great story in one issue Lemire was able to reference past events so far and linked the book with The Justice League while at the same time introducing new characters to the title. Not to mention his team interactions between characters which he also has done well in Frankenstein were able shine here and gave us a brief rundown of everyone that makes it very clear that Jeff knows his vertigo characters, places and things very well.

Anyone who had dropped this title or have never tried this should go and pick this up, it’s a great jumping on point and in which I hope will turn out to be a classic run on this book.

Story: 5 - Excellent
Art: 4 - Very Good
