The weakest of the Joker’s Asylum II series so far, the Harley Quinn issue was still on the fun side.  Why it suffers is not poor writing or bad art, but merely because the other issues in the series offered something unexpected.  This was standard Harley Quinn fare.  It’s done well, but there’s nothing you don’t assume will be involved in a Harley story.  It’s a solid three star book.

Story: 3 - Good

  1. Totally disagree!

Story was fun, action packed, and was everything you could want in a Harley Quinn issue. The art by Quinones was beautiful to look at and reminded me a lot of the Batman animated series.

Probably the best Asylum story of the bunch so far.

  2. I didn’t dislike it, but Mad Hatter and The Riddler were both much more inventive stories.  This was like a decent episode of the animated series, but with more guns.  Again, it was good, but I thought the risks the other two books in the series took payed off more in the end.
