After last month’s terrific issue, we are once again back at the ‘slow’ but enjoyable pace this series has been. Even though this series has always been enjoyable it’s always been one of those: “it’s so good, you can’t think of anything else to say”. That’s where I’m at right now with this series. At least last issue there was even more incredible art moments by Murphy and the story hit you hard in the heart. Here? It was just stopping at another checkpoint where the characters decide on what to do.

Other then an intriguing moment towards the end, where Morrison shows us that both realities might be merging, this was just another ‘good’ issue. It’s nice to see Batman, Robin, Optimus Prime, and others once again but other then that nothing about this issue felt ‘special’. Murphy does fantastic art as always but again, nothing much to really says ‘wow’. With the last two issues I’m pretty sure Morrison will make the shit hit the fan and make it more memorible to read.
