Incredibly busy with running Image, and putting out Astounding Wolfman, Haunt, Image United, The Walking Dead, and Invincible, Robert Kirkman does not have enough time to focus on his projects.  Issue 67 of Invincible is just not up to par with the images that preceded it.  The dialog is clunky.  And the action seems to exist to push the plot into the next issue.  All in all, it seems to be a bit of a rush job, writing wise.

Artistically, Corey Walker is at top form.  His panels of Nolan trying to block his ears are fantastic.  And McCaig’s vibrant colors really boost Walker’s pencils.

Story: 3 - Good
Art: 5 - Excellent

  1. I feel the opposite.  I liked the writing, didn’t care for the art nor coloring.  I would agree that WolfMan suffers for everything that Kirkman has going on, but I haven’t felt that way about Invincible or TWD.
