I love it when i get a good-ole, colorful, golden-age villain in my comic book pages. Colin 33 has the monologue, the twisted integrity and the vibrant suit all rolled into one! And then have hulk smash. everything. There is no complicated plot, just your standard switcheroo gimmick, the plot is pretty straight forward. Waid delivers a good nice and fun issue, all the while bringing an off-screen group gathering sub-plot that i’m sure to see more of in the next few issues. Yu’s art is wonderful but i can’t help but think that his style may not fit waids story-telling style in this book. The heavy lines and shadow project too much of a dark overtone over the more colorful story-telling.

Story and art are great on its own right apart, but together, there seems to be something to long for.
