After Brubaker, Fraction, and Aja left this book, I was thinking about leaving with them. However, some little voice in the back of my head told me I should stay with it an arc, and see if it's the same Danny Rand I came to love in the the previous issues.
Turns out, I made a good desicion staying with this book.
Swierczynski and Foreman have done a really good job keeping me interested in in the characters and story, making it sometimes feel like the first creative team never left. I also was tickled with the idea that Danny Rand can in fact die, and his fist of iron can't get him out of every situation.
Another thing I really liked was the villain that was introduced, Ch'i-Lin, came from the rumored Eighth City that the gang is looking for. He was quite the nasty bugger, too.
So in a time where the economy is forcing readers to trim their pull lists week by week, be sure and keep Immortal Iron Fist in your 'Buy' pile. Fast, fun, and filled with kung-fu action, this is one of the true gems in the Marvel treasure chest.

Agreed. I’m digging the kung fu madness of this book. It’s actually a nice flair to it because it helps give it a unique identity in the superhero realm.
