I have been reading this series since it began, I enjoy the steam punk with rocketships world and the drunk and/or crazy characters are quite funny and depressing at the same time. But I couldn’t really get into the story of the main charcater seeking revenge for her murdered father, so I walked into the store intending to not buy it (mainly by me being poor), but I decided to look through it to see what I was going to miss. I was treated to the opening pages where a large bearded Russian scientist with a large electric gun screaming, and I quote, “science will fuck you!”. That was all I needed to see and gladly pay the $3.99 just so I could see more of this wonderful man. The rest of the book has some great interactions between the cast and a good tease at what looks to be a big reveal in the next issue. The art is beautiful and detailed, except for the women’s faces which seem to have giant foreheads, but the enviroments make up for this. If you see this book in your store, its worth checking out, you won’t be disappointed. It’s too bad this book is ending next issue because I would love to see more of this world.
