As was previously reported, I was gonna drop this book. Every issue prior to this was more than worth the $2.99, but I felt that the "Lady Liberators" might make the next arc seem a bit... well, silly.
That was my opinion until I read the latest chapter and realized that, if it means getting to see the mystery resolved, I'll be more than happy to give the Ladies a chance. And they (or should I say, their asses [I'm talking to you, Cho]) are only in half of the book, right?
To sum up #6, Thor strikes back. With a big. Damn. Bang. The thunder god was truly on his way to killing Rulk when Hulk decided he had to finish Rulk off. It was a bit confusing, but I'm fairly sure that he beat Rulk by making him so angry that he burned out and was weakened.
Hulk not entirely dumb again, it seem.
Afterward, Hulk and Thor shake hands (Avengers reunion, anybody? Anybody?) and Hulk (while reverting to Banner) simply walked away. A-Bomb, who pretty much stood around and watched the fight go down, tried to tell Banner the true identity of Rulk, but was shot in the back by... Doc Samson! Meanwhile, Ross is informing the still out-cold Rulk of his failure and that he is on his own now.
So, basically, the answers that Loeb promised were nowhere to be found (unless "it's not Samson or Ross" counts).
I'm okay with that, though, and will gladly continue picking up this book every month.
