Is it just me or did this story just sort of come from around the corner from nowhere?
its not that its necessarily bad, but in context with the previous issues in this title this story makes no sense and then the rest of the marvel universe continuity makes this make less sense.
I read in the comments on this issue somewhere that this title is not in continuity with the rest of marvel. Well, you know, if that's the case then I should be able to easily figure this out from the book itself so that I as an average casual reader am not confused. I am not a big hulk fan, I mean.... I love hulk I just wasn't collecting anything hulk until the whole red hulk thing happened, but I am aware of the events in planet hulk and world war hulk. so where does this put this book? I certainly don't know.
the art is alright I suppose, nothing spectacular but nothing horrid either. The story other than the first impression of, "what did i just read?"/"what the___just happened?", its kinda interesting. similar things have been done with hulk before but I wonder what the stakes really are in this new "the powers that be" grudge match, as it is it doesn't make much sense to me as to why these two powers want to see the outcome of the two hulk led super teams.
The 3.99 price tag does not help this book for me. I think that unless they show some real character exploration/development then this might be a throw away arc or rather a just stuff happening title. if you are just picking this up it might be a slow enough paced issue for you to get into it but I don't see it as being all that interesting if you aren't already vested in the outcome of red hulk and his relation to green hulk.

Story: 2 - Average
Art: 3 - Good

You were way nicer to this book than I was.
well, being a graphic artist myself, I try to balance my crtiques with positive and negative. I mean its reall easy to be negative and deconstruct somehting in that way, but to find the positive and point it out is good because then the good gets focused on and hopefully more of that good stuff happens.
that said, this issue was pretty bad.
