Some people like to tease you, others put it all out there at once. Joshua Dysart is the latter. This book is going to be awesome. Our hero is an aimless loner whose only friend is a boy more troubled than him. This is how you re-introduce a character to fit in with the times. Right away our hero has many flaws that are blatantly transparent. I like how realistic it is about how mediocrity is the norm. This world is very much like our world (maybe it is our world 0_0 ) with an economic/environmental crisis that spells disaster for humanity and a society that does not know how/does not want to deal with mental illness. Drug’em up and lock’em up is the government policy. So much is revealed about the people of this world thanks to thought clouds which make you realize once again that Pete lives among us. And all this in one issue.

The antagonist is a genius megalomaniac while our protagonist is an insecure little shit. Let the games begin!

PICK IT UP, FOR A BETTER FUTURE…

Story: 5 - Excellent
